The intent is to build consensus around core asks supported by the sector, provide you with a resource to draw on for your own submission and to strengthen OSEA's feedback to the various agencies involved. The positive economic and environmental impacts of solar, wind, bioenergy and waterpower projects once built and producing clean power are self-evident. This webinar will shift the focus to the more personal and community-level impacts that are experienced throughout the process of realizing a local, community power project. Social impacts attributed to direct involvement in community power projects can include:  the formation of new charitable organizations, acquiring new jobs and sector-specialized skills, start-up of entrepreneurial RE companies, development of new relationships, partnerships and perspectives.  Hear accounts of how involvement in RE projects has led to both predicted and unexpected experiences in different Ontario contexts and abroad.
