PRENEAL Canada was incorporated in 2006. Our head office is located in Moncton, New Brunswick. We are a subsidiary of PRENEAL Group, an international leader in the development and production of renewable energy, with a solid track record and expertise in the production and sale of electricity.

PRENEAL develops, builds and operates wind farms on a long-term basis with community, municipal, regional and private partners. Our co-ownership, community-based approach to wind farming is new to North America. To maximize local economic benefits, we offer the community, landowners, wind-farm neighbours and private investors the possibility of owning a substantial amount of equity in the wind farms.

We are currently studying the development of more than 800 Mw of community, co-owned wind projects in the Maritime Provinces. Our capital investment for this will be in the vicinity of $ 1.7 billion.
