Brett Barnes is a Civil Engineering / Architectural Technologist with a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation. He's been employed with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation for 17yrs. As a District Manager with CMHC, Brett is responsible for working with housing stakeholders in communities throughout southern Ontario. Brett previously managed CMHC's Partnership Centre in Ontario where he was responsible for working with proponents to help to develop affordable housing projects.

Brett is currently involved in delivering CMHC's Municipal Infrastructure Lending Program. This program is part of Canada's Economic Action Plan which provides up to $2 billion in direct low-cost loans to municipalities, over two years.
