Rebecca Black is the principal of Black Current, dedicated to marketing a sustainable future for organizations that seek to balance social, ecological, and economic returns. For the past five years, Rebecca has worked within the sustainable development sector in North America, with a primary focus on event and project management, marketing, communications and fundraising for the renewable energy and built environment sectors.

Rebecca has worked at several renewable power developers including SkyPower, WindShare Cooperative and the Toronto Renewable Energy Cooperative, and she is currently the Director of Communications for the Community Power Fund. Prior to working in the sustainability field, she held senior management positions within the music industry in Canada, New York and Australia.

Rebecca has a Masters Degree in Environmental Studies, where her thesis focused on Marketing for Community-Based Renewable Power Projects, and a Diploma in Business & Environment.
